Landscaping begins

The process begins.

Such a good husband!!

Emme played on the slip n' slide while we set landscaping bricks.

Sliding on her knees.
B. J. and I are beginning the process of landscaping our front yard. We got the bricks and the landscapers mat. B. J. got the bricks laid out before the rain, but that's where the progress halted for the weekend. After pictures will be added when there is a finished product!!

Happy Birthday little brother!

Darius Rucker

Brad Paisley
My wonderful little brother surprised me with tickets to the Brad Paisley H2O concert on May 29 (Scott's BD)!! Of course, Lauren, B. J., my mom and my mother in law were all in on it too! It was a great time!! We went to St. Louis and met Lauren for supper at Dave and Buster's. After a few round in the arcade we headed over to the concert. Steel Magnolia was playing outside the arena and Brad came out to play with them before the concert started. Justin Moore and Darius Rucker were the opening acts and they were great! It was a great night and I was really surprised! Thanks again Scott for a great early birthday present!!

It's been awhile!!

It's been quite awhile since I posted anything. Not too many pictures to post, but here are a few random shots. I will try to be better over the summer months.

Casting Crowns

Casting Crowns

Caleb

Tenth Avenue North

Emme and I at the concert
One of my favorite bands, Casting Crowns was playing in Cedar Falls, IA while we were visiting Scott. Emme and I were very excited to see the concert. We listen to their songs in the car every morning. Emme really wanted to hear her favorite songs, "Slow Fade" and "Altar to the Door." They played Slow Fade but didn't have enough time for the other song. It was a great concert and we had great seats (thanks Grandma Pam)!

Waterloo Visit

The easter bunny made a stop at Scott's house and left this Large chocolate bunny!!

Visiting the Imaginarium

Playing Dr. at the Children's Museum in Coralville.
While we were in Waterloo we visited a few different museums and fun centeres. The Children's Museum, The Waterloo Imaginarium, The Phelps Art Pavilion (where I forgot my camera) and a Casting Crowns concert. We also went to Chuck E Cheese, but I didnt take my camera there either! We had a great time visiting Uncle Scott. We also visited the Pepsi plant to see where Scott worked. Thanks Uncle Scott for letting us stay!

Ice Skating

Showing off our skates

So Sweet!!

Venturing out onto the ice for the first time!
My mom, Emme and I traveled to Waterloo to see Scott for a few days. We decided to meet at Coralville, IA at the mall for a little ice skating. Scott, Emme and I had never been before. Of course, Scott had no problem with it, but Emme and I were a little slower to learn. We all made it around the rink a few times without anybody falling down. It was a great time!!

Easter Day

Emme thought it was hilarious the Easter Bunny left underwear in the easter eggs.

Happy Easter!
Emme and I got up early on Easter morning to head off to Sunrise services at church and then the Easter breakfast. We enjoyed a great meal and fellowship at church while celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. When we returned home the easter bunny had visited. Emme couldn't believe when she opened up some of her eggs and there was underwear in them!!

Easter Egg Hunts

Easter egg hunt in Shelbyville

Easter egg hunt in Leonard. It was in the Rec Center since it was pretty muddy outside! Thanks Kelly for putting it together!
