On Sat., Josh and Julie rented a pontoon boat for a little outing at Lake Rathbun. The temps were a little warmer and it was a beautiful day!! The girls enjoyed being on the boat and loved playing in the sand when we stopped a couple of times.

What a pose!!

On Friday the weather wasn't perfect for outdoor activities (Temp 65 and raining all day). We found an indoor waterpark to take the girls to and the guys went 4 wheeler riding. The guys made a quick trip to walmart because nobody had warm clothes so sweatshirts and long pants were needed. The girls had a great time at the waterpark!

We took a vacation this year to Lake Rathbun, IA. A friend of B. J.'s from college, Josh and his wife, Julie and daughter Ella invited us up for the weekend. Matt, Megan and Natalie Thrasher were there also. We stayed in a cabin that was so cute and perfect for a little getaway. This is the first night when we roasted hot dogs and spent some time catching up. The little girls had a great time playing and running around.

Emme, my Mom, Lauren (Scott's girlfriend) and I all loaded up and headed to Waterloo, IA to visit Scott over the weekend. We got there on Fri night and had pizza before heading to Kohls for some late night shopping!! On Sat we went shopping, ate, and enjoyed the playground behind Scott's apartment building. It rained on and off all weekend, but we had a great time!! Can't wait to visit again!!

Emme's Park

B. J. wanted to keep Emme's toys in one spot that was easier to mow around so he constructed this play area. Emme calls it her "park." We also put the swimming pool on it so the kiddos can play and swim. What a good daddy!!

We had a great time at Old Settlers this year. We spent alot of time with our friends and family riding rides and visiting!! Can't wait until next year!!
