We Love Christmas Music!!

We love Christmas music at our house and it seems to be playing all of the time right now!! Emme is especially crazy about it. Emme and her daddy were dancing around to festive music.

A Visit to Santa

Once again, we headed to Bass Pro in Columbia to see Santa. Poor Emme was beginning to get sick, but she was very upset when I said we couldn't see Santa so we headed out anyway. Emme climbed right up on Santa's lap and told him she wanted makeup and a doll baby. Guess we will have to see how that turns out!!

Tool Time

Emme using the big hammer.

Just like Daddy!!

B. J. was hanging up a Christmas sign and needed to put hangers on the sign. Emme heard him hammering and she said, "I better get my hammer...Daddy I'm coming to help you!" It was hysterical!! She loves helping her Daddy with tools and you can imagine that he LOVES it also!!

Sick Kiddo!!

Emme hanging out with her buddy.

Trying to make Emme feel better.

Poor Emme was a sick little girl for about a week so we stayed home a few days and rested. Freckles kept trying to lay on Em's blanket to keep her company.

Gingerbread House

The finished product

Carefully placing candy on the roof.

Hard at work.

Emme and I put together our annual gingerbread house with less input from Mommy and more from Emme this year. I tried to step back and let her do most of the work. It turned out so cute!!

The Little Drummer Boy

Decorating for Christmas

Looking at the ornaments she made at school last year.

Showing off Daddy's tool bench ornament.

Our Mizzou Tree

Emme putting the angel on the top of the tree.
Emme and I spent all day getting our housed decked for the holidays. It was alot of fun and there were only a few tears shed (mostly by the 3 yr old). Happy Holidays!

Deer Season 2009

B. J.'s 8 point

Lara's 8 point

B. J. and I had a sucessful deer season this year. This is only the second buck I have shot so I was pretty happy with it. As you can see, B. J.'s standards are a little higher than mine. :)
